Espresso Media International is an experienced boutique TV distributor of factual programming with high end TV broadcast, online platform, in-flight and educational clients worldwide. We represent over 150 international Producers, including award winning production teams and indies. We are now looking for a team member to join us, in one dual role of PA / Administrator & Marketing Assistant to support our growing clientele.

PA / Administrator & Marketing Assistant

Contract start date: 1st October 2018


These are the main functions:
Bookkeeping Assistance on Xero Accounting:
Assisting our bookkeeper with general book-keeping requirements. Includes handling invoices and receipts, and recording quarterly VAT payments using the Xero software.
Credit Control – Chasing clients for outstanding invoices owed to Espresso
WHT – Applying for Certificate of Residence letters from HRMC where necessary and filling in Withholding Tax forms where applicable
Ordering of supplies as necessary i.e. stationary, print, hard drives, marketing materials etc
Maintaining accurate records of broadcaster and producer contracts / agreements
Checking invoices against PO’s raised
Maintaining and updating excel databases (Buyers / Producers / Suppliers etc)
Monitoring budgets
Organising couriers
Basic programme delivery assistance and administration
General PA support to MD
Organising accommodation and travel arrangements
Organising meetings and maintaining meetings diary
Organising Staff Meeting notes and updates
Marketing Support:
Research of markets & festivals for Espresso to attend, or send info and registering attendees / submitting films
Source opportunities from markets & festivals for Espresso to attend pitches or be involved in distribution sessions etc
Create analysis of Markets & Festivals (under guidance of Sales Manager & MD)
Basic social media and website maintenance
Skills required:
Basic bookkeeping ideally up to VAT recording level
2 / 3 years minimum PA experience at SME level 
Word / Excel proficient
Familiar or willing to learn other software packages 
Social Media proficient
High attention to detail 
Interest in documentary TV programming
